Brambledown Landscapes create Landscape Improvements at Major Cumbria Holiday Complex

North East based Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd have completed various Landscape improvement works at a Holiday Park in Cumbria. 

Lakeland Leisure Park is situated near the Lake District, and features a heated swimming pool, nature trail, 9 hole golf course and a water sports activity lake.

The expansion of the park, which features a mixture of accommodation, including lodges, caravans and pitches, has created opportunities for new landscape features. Works carried out by Brambledown Landscapes Ltd included the construction of 9 raised timber planters, which were to be planted with a mixture of evergreen and herbaceous species of plants.

The Lakeland Leisure complex is investing in expansion of its bases, but also regenerating the landscape element of the site ready for the coming holiday season. Works also included wildflower turfing, fencing, new stone walls, pedestrian footpath, hedge planting and general tree and shrub planting.

The works were completed in just under 5 weeks, to a value of approximately £70,000.
