Walker Park Newcastle Update

Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd have almost completed a multi-million pound redevelopment of Walker Park in Newcastle. The historic Park is to be rejuvenated back to its former glory, and despite the wettest winter recorded in over 50 years, Brambledown are on schedule to have the Park ready for its Summer opening. The Main Areas of Walker Park Development by Brambledown Landscapes, on behalf of Client Newcastle City Council include: Pathways, fencing, pin kerbs, Amphitheatre Construction, Excavation, Community Centre Construction and revite works, Tennis Courts, MUGA, gates, lighting and brickwork. Brambledown are working closely with local residents to construct and replace the former Burns memorial statue and engraved paving beneath, along with street furniture and litter bins around the park. Brambledown are also working closely with North East architects TGP to develop a large Play Area including safety surfacing. It is the second rgeneration of Walker Park Newcastle that Brambledown Landscape Services Ltd have undertaken, having been responsible for the rejuvenation works almost 30 years ago. Many of the same personnel are back working on this historic scheme.
